reSortVille - Resort Style Living Transformation
Project:
Capstone is the final studio class where we discover our design intent. So, everyone researches and finds their project. I transformed a memory care facility in San Diego into a residential community that promotes resort-style living.
Program:
The compound has a clubhouse and five single-story cottages with four studios in each. Convert the 1,400 SF cottages to two-bedroom single-family units and upgrade the 2,750 SF clubhouse.
Design:
Not just the interiors but also the architecture and site are transformed into a resort-like California Style residential compound. The OPEN, FLEXIBLE, and VERSATILE design intent is meticulously practiced.
